This 3-day safari is a perfect short getaway to explore three of Northern Tanzania's most iconic destinations — Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. Starting with a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, you'll enjoy thrilling game drives, scenic landscapes, and a variety of wildlife encounters before returning to Zanzibar.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Zanzibar ✈ Arusha → Tarangire National Park

Program:
Take a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport (ARK), where your safari guide will meet you. Drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch boxes.

Tarangire is known for its huge elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and over 400 bird species. In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Program:
After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world's largest unbroken caldera. Descend into the crater for a game drive with picnic lunch boxes.

The crater floor is home to around 30,000 animals, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo), as well as hippos, wildebeests, zebras, and flamingos along the crater lakes.

After your safari, drive back to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: Lake Manyara National Park → Zanzibar

Program:
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and pink flamingos, this park offers a unique ecosystem of forests, woodlands, and lake shores.

Enjoy a game drive with picnic lunch before transferring back to Arusha for your afternoon flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your beach accommodation to relax after your safari adventure.
